Philippe Art

Henri ignites a firework of colours in his life as well as in his pictures. The basis of his paintings are treatment of colour, the perception of his visual and material quality.

He has been interested in art for more than 30 years. Over this period he visited plenty of art exhibitions all over the world and has also organised some himself.

After meeting many contemporary Slovak artists he finally fell under their influence.

Henri became very encouraged by their style of painting. Finally his desire to integrate colours, to express moods, feelings and ideas motivated his desire to paint.

This new challenge led him to the Universidad Popular Mijas institution to further study and develop his painting skills. A well known international artist and philosopher Mirjana Lucic was his mentor over a period of five years and this also contributed to his present abilities.

Early during his study he exhibited his first pictures. At the Mijas Pinta art exhibition he won the 1. award. The next exhibitions followed: Exhibition in Corte Ingles in Fuengirola and exhibition Arte Marbella.

Some of his pictures belong in the meantime to the private possesion in Marbella, Barcelona, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Bad Pyrmont, Bratislava, Bruxelles and Casablanca.
